Live updates from Auburn Football's home game against Vanderbilt

After picking up its first Power 4 win of the season last week against Kentucky, Auburn returns home to face a familiar opponent.

Vanderbilt travels to Jordan-Hare Stadium for Saturday's game and it marks the return of quarterback Diego Pavia, who led New Mexico State to a victory over Auburn last season.

The game begins at 11:45 a.m. and will be streamed on SEC Network.

First quarter

0:00 – The first quarter ends with Vanderbilt leading Auburn 7-0. Pavia caught passes of 31, 16 and 28 yards during the touchdown.

0:50 – Pavia connects with AJ Newberry on a beautiful 28-yard throw to the end zone. Vanderbilt gets on the board first with a touchdown. The ensuing kickoff goes out of bounds and Auburn takes over at the 35-yard line.

7-0, Vanderbilt over Auburn

3:51 – Auburn makes a few nice plays down the field, but the drive stalls at midfield, forcing another punt. Vanderbilt will take over at its 19-yard line.

6:54 – Auburn is stopped after a nice third down pressure by Austin Keys. A good punt pins Auburn at its own one-yard line to start its next drive.

10:08 – The defensive battle continues as Auburn shoots a three-pointer. Payton Thorne appeared to give Luke Deal the lead in the second round but brought him down. Vanderbilt takes over at its own 33-yard line.

11:23 – Vanderbilt shoots a three-pointer on its first drive and Auburn takes over at its own 30-yard line.

1:00 p.m. – Auburn can't do much on its first drive and has to punt. Vanderbilt takes over at its own 16-yard line.

Auburn wins the throw and elects to receive.

11:43 a.m. – Auburn takes the field

Hugh Freeze leads Auburn onto the field as the game nears kickoff.

10:45 a.m. – Warm-ups begin

As Auburn takes the field to warm up, defenseman Keionte Scott appears to be warming up after being listed as a game-time decision on the pregame availability report.

Alex McPherson, Jamonta Waller, Tyler Scott, Champ Anthony, Brandon Frazier and Caleb Burton III are all in the game.
