ABC News predicts Donald Trump will win four of Nebraska's five electoral votes, while Vice President Kamala Harris will win the electoral votes in Nebraska's 2nd Congressional District.

Voters in Nebraska went to the polls on Election Day to cast their votes in the presidential race as well as several rounds of voting and two competing ballot measures on abortion.

The state has a total of five electoral votes, two of which are awarded to the winner of the statewide popular vote and the other three are awarded to the district. ABC News predicts Trump will win votes in both the 1st and 3rd Districts, as well as the popular vote winner in the two statewide elections.

Voters also weighed in on two competing ballot measures on abortion.

A measure banning abortions after the first trimester — with some exceptions — will pass, ABC News predicts.

The planned vote enshrines Nebraska's current 12-week abortion ban in the state constitution. The measure allows abortions beyond the first trimester of pregnancy in medical emergencies or in pregnancies resulting from sexual assault or incest.

A second ballot measure in Nebraska that would have amended the state constitution to create a fundamental right to abortion also passed but received fewer votes. It is unlikely to come into force because in the event of a conflict, the initiative with the higher number of votes will come into force.

ABC News predicts incumbent Republican Sen. Deb Fischer will win in a highly anticipated Senate race, defeating independent candidate Dan Osborn.

Osborn turned heads in the Senate race with a surprisingly competitive campaign, and Republicans ended up pouring more money into advertising and campaigning than they expected – even though Fischer did better than some polls suggested and is now expected to keep her seat .

As an independent, Osborn declined to say which party he would have aligned with.
