Justin Timberlake postpones Detroit concert until February due to illness

“I will make it up to you,” the singer wrote in a social media post.

Justin Timberlake's Friday night concert at Little Caesars Arena has been postponed, according to a Tuesday announcement on Timberlake's social media channels.

Friday's concert was one of several that the superstar singer had postponed due to illness, the announcement said.

“Hey guys, I haven't been feeling well the last few shows and it turns out I have bronchitis and laryngitis. “I’m sorry to say I have to postpone the next few shows,” he wrote. “Thank you for your understanding – I’ll make it up to you.”

The Detroit show will be rescheduled for February 20, 2025. Tickets are valid from the new date and can be refunded upon purchase.

Other affected shows include dates in Chicago, Grand Rapids, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Columbus.

The concert, part of Timberlake's Forget Tomorrow World Tour, was announced in February. The tour for Timberlake's 2024 album “Everything I Thought It Was” started on April 29 in Vancouver.

The singer made headlines over the summer for allegedly driving drunk in the Hamptons. He pleaded guilty to a non-criminal traffic violation and agreed to pay a fine and perform community service.
