With less than two weeks until the presidential election, the final stage in the race for the White House is underway. So what's the latest?

Both former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris — as well as their running mate, Sen. JD Vance and Gov. Tim Walz — are on the campaign trail this week, stopping in battleground states like Georgia, Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

Who is leading the latest presidential polls?

The latest national presidential polls show a tight race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump.

Here are some of this week's latest poll results:

  • A Wall Street Journal poll released Wednesday showed Trump leading Harris by a 47 percent to 45 percent margin. The survey had a margin of error of plus or minus 2.5 percentage points.
  • An Economist/YouGov poll released Wednesday showed Harris preferred over Trump 49% to 46%. The poll's margin of error is about 3 percentage points.
  • A six-day Reuters/Ipsos poll that ended Monday showed Harris leading 46% to 43% for Trump. The survey has a margin of error of 2 percentage points.
