Baton Rouge Dispensary established through partnership with Pioneering Medical Cannabis Provider Capitol Wellness Solutions

BATON ROUGE, La., September 19, 2024–(BUSINESS WIRE)–International cannabis and lifestyle brand Cookies is coming to Louisiana: A new medical marijuana dispensary will open on September 20 in partnership with Capitol Wellness Solutions, the first licensed dispensary serving medical marijuana patients in Louisiana.

The grand opening celebration will feature Berner — the rapper and entrepreneur who founded lifestyle brand Cookies and regularly appears on the Billboard Rap/Hip-Hop Top 100 — who will meet, greet patients and sign merchandise starting at 10 a.m. at the dispensary at 1940 O'Neal Lane. The all-day event is open to registered patients who hold a valid Louisiana medical cannabis card and will include a DJ, food trucks and specialty vendors. Doctors will also be on hand to issue medical cards for new and returning patients. These consultations cost just $25 and entitle patients to access for a year. Patients with debilitating conditions such as anxiety, depression, insomnia, chronic pain and more are encouraged to attend the grand opening.
