For the next four months, eastern Interstate 70 will be closed east of Idaho Springs on clear mornings to protect drivers from glare from the rising sun.

The Colorado Department of Transportation announced Thursday the seasonal closure of Floyd Hill, which will begin at sunrise and last between 45 minutes and an hour on days when it is necessary.
