The Lakers quickly found a rhythm in the first part of the season, picking up three wins in quick succession while using a variety of elaborate plays to keep opposing defenses at bay.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis look as good as ever. James scored 32 points (on 12 of 22 shooting), 14 rebounds and 10 assists in leading Los Angeles to a victory over the Kings on October 26. Davis, on the other hand, is averaging 34.0 points, 11.0 boards, 1.7 steals and 2.3 blocks so far this campaign.

One player who hasn't been able to crack JJ Redick's rotation in recent games has been James' son Bronny James. After making a three-minute cameo appearance in the season opener in LA, Bronny was benched for the final two games.

Following the completion of the Lakers' six-game road trip, Bronny will join Los Angeles' G League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers.

Before his odyssey to the G-League, there are few chances for Bronny to earn playing time. The game between the Lakers and the Suns on Monday was an opportunity for the 20-year-old newcomer.

James didn't see the floor Monday night as he sat on the bench while the Lakers and Suns dueled under the glow of the Footprint Center. Los Angeles dropped its first contest of the season as both Kevin Durant and Devin Booker finished with more than 30 points for Phoenix.
