Daniel Jones embodied the New York Giants' enduring frustration when he collapsed on the field against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Towards the end of the Monday Night Football showdown, Brian Daboll's team's lack of urgency was clearly evident as the Giants' offense snuffed out a two-point conversion.

New York found itself at the doorstep of the end zone after its first touchdown in 24 drives. Jones threw the ball to wide receiver Malik Nabers, who was tackled by John Leglue before he could catch the pigskin.

After the failed conversion, Jones threw a tantrum on the field as he began screaming toward his sideline and swinging his arms in frustration before ripping his helmet off his head.

Daboll was also seen screaming loudly after the mistake prevented them from overcoming an eight-point deficit with 11 minutes left.

The margin remained the same as the game ended with a score of 26-18, handing the Giants their third straight loss in their 2-6 season.

Jones completed 24 of his 38 attempts for 264 yards and one interception. Kicker Greg Joseph was responsible for 12 of New York's points, while Tyrone Tracy Jr. scored their only touchdown.

The Giants appeared to be on the verge of a comeback, but Jones was intercepted by Beanie Bishop Jr. with 34 seconds left, ending the game.

With the loss, Jones is now 1-for-15 in primetime games, holding the worst winning percentage in nationally televised games of any quarterback since 1970.

As Jones' struggles continued, Russell Wilson completed 20 of 28 passes for 278 yards and a touchdown, leading Pittsburgh to victory. Bishop and Calvin Austin III would also be responsible for touchdowns.

Kicker Chris Boswell also contributed 14 points after making all four field goal attempts.

The win moved Pittsburgh to a 6-2 record and prepared to play the Commanders on November 10th.

Washington will also face the Giants on November 3rd before taking on the Steelers.
