First Alert Warning: Clearing skies and frosty weather begin Thursday

ROCHESTER, NY – We'll finally be free of those pesky sea clouds, but that also means our temperatures will drop. Frost warnings are in effect for the entire area, and there is a frost warning for Wyoming County.

This means you should cover or bring inside any flowers or plants you want to keep longer, as Wednesday night's cold temperatures could harm them. But don’t be fooled – we have a lot of warmer air along the way! While Thursday starts cool, we'll climb into the mid and upper 50s and skies will become mostly sunny.

Then we have a period of sunny and warmer weather ahead of us. We'll climb into the 60s at the end of the work week, with mostly sunny skies and upper 60s on both Saturday and Sunday.

Dry weather will continue through the weekend, with high temperatures rising to the upper 70s Monday through Wednesday and skies remaining mostly sunny. Our pattern will finally break by the end of next week and some showers are forecast again. But our fall colors are finally shining and our weather is looking great if you want to do a little leaf gazing this weekend!
