The Arizona Cardinals face the Chicago Bears on Sunday afternoon in Week 9. Kickoff at State Farm Stadium is at 4:05 p.m. ET or 2:05 p.m. Arizona time.

The Cardinals are 4-4 and have won two straight games and three of four. They are in first place in the NFC West.

The Bears are 4-3 and in last place in the NFC North. They had a three-game winning streak last week and are 0-3 on the road this season.

How will this game end?

Below are some expert tips and predictions for the game.

I know the Bears haven't allowed more than 21 points this season, but their below-average yards per rushing attempt allowed is, to me, the deciding factor in the Cardinals' ability to move the ball and score points.

This game could really go either way, but I believe the Cardinals come away with a last minute win. Cardinals 23, Bears 19

Sunday's game between the Arizona Cardinals and Chicago Bears is a study in contrasts when it comes to their schedules. The Cardinals are 4-4 with two division wins and the overall record of their eight opponents is 37-23 (61.7 percent). The teams they lost to are 24-7 (77.4 percent). This game begins a nine-game stretch against teams with a 29-40 (42.0 percent) record, including the Seahawks twice. Meanwhile, the 4-3 Bears have played against teams with an overall record of 23-55 (41.8 percent) and won against teams with a record of 7-23 (23.3 percent). They have yet to play a divisional game against Detroit, Green Bay and Minnesota, which was 17-5 (77.2 percent). In their last 10 games, the combined record of NFC North teams counted twice is 48-28 (63.2 percent). This is an opportunity for the Cardinals to build on what they did in their last three wins by a total of four points. This will not be the case The close.

This feels like a game that has the potential to be clunky on both sides and ultimately depends on which team has the ball last. With that in mind, I trust the Bears will bounce back from their bitter loss to the Commanders. They have a defense that has held opponents to under 21 points in 13 straight games and a young quarterback who has shown he's tough in the fourth quarter. I'm picking Chicago to get a one-point win in what I think is a must-win game. Bears 23, Cardinals 20
