DeAndre Hopkins immediately makes the perfect social media post after Chiefs beat Bucs

New Chiefs WR DeAndre Hopkins is officially having his “Welcome to Kansas City” moment and was quick to take to social media to celebrate his phenomenal performance in the Week 9 win.

Hopkins caught eight passes for 86 yards and two touchdowns in the 30-24 overtime win and had the best play of the night with a deep 35-yard catch that had two defenders draped on him.

He's happy to be with a team of this caliber and he had his highlights to prove it.

With impressive performances both on and off the field, Hopkins has delivered dazzling plays and is already looking like a brilliant acquisition. Brett Veach has struck gold in the search for the ideal receiver upgrade, while Hopkins has the best chance of his illustrious career to win a ring.

The first results of the new partnership couldn't be more promising. Patrick Mahomes didn't turn the ball over for the first time this year, throwing three TD passes while completing 34 of his 44 attempts. Travis Kelce caught 14 balls for 100 yards himself, obviously benefiting from the extra attention Hopkins demands.

If this is a preview of what's to come, Kansas City will be hard to beat. Even on a night where the defense gave up 24 points, an uneven occurrence so far this year, this new-look offense is good enough to get the job done. Once Isiah Pacheco and possibly Hollywood Brown return, things could get dangerous.

For now, fans can celebrate Hopkins' breakthrough game with his new team. The Chiefs remain undefeated and Hopkins has often been the best player on the field. It's great to have him here in Kansas City.
