Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to give a speech in Washington, DC on Tuesday, a week before Election Day.

Harris' rally comes at a time when the election is on a knife's edge. Polls in various swing states show a statistical tie between the Democrat and Republican former President Donald Trump.

Trump will hold a news conference at his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida on Tuesday morning. On Sunday, Trump held a rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Harris will speak to an audience on the Ellipse near the White House, the same location where Trump held his “Stop the Steal” rally before the Capitol insurrection on January 6, 2021.

When is Kamala Harris' campaign event?

Registration for the event is free. People can register through the Democratic National Committee website. The event is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. ET and doors open to the public at 3:00 p.m. ET.

The speech will be delivered at the Ellipse, sometimes called President's Park South, south of the White House.

Although no information was released about where to stream the event online, Kamala Harris' YouTube page was where other rallies were previously livestreamed.
