Former NASCAR and IndyCar driver Danica Patrick has branded support from celebrities such as Taylor Swift and Eminem for Vice President Kamala Harris as “survival” ahead of the 2024 presidential race, which pits Harris against Donald Trump.

Patrick shared her perspective in a reposted Instagram reel about celebrity support for the vice president. The former driver simply commented:

“Watch it until the end. (Kamala’s) support is not passion, it is survival.”

The role shared by Patrick, originally written by Lennie Moreno, claimed that many celebrities who expressed their support for Harris had not yet made any of their public appearances and that their support was inauthentic. Moreno questioned such actions, calling them “not organic.”

He also pointed out that actor Leonardo Di Caprio, who has supported Kamala Harris, has ties to controversial celebrities like Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Patrick has openly supported Trump in the upcoming 2024 US presidential election. However, she recently revealed that this is the first time she has voted. She explained, as previously reported by Newsweek Sports:

“I just want to say that I have never voted before, but this time I have to vote. It’s so important.”

“The person who runs this country should ultimately run it like a business. “I can’t think of a better businessman than Donald Trump,” Patrick said.

“A guy like that, who’s been in the business for so long, is going to walk in that room and get things done. That’s what we need, a president who will actually bring about change.”

Patrick also gave a speech at a Trump rally in Las Vegas.

“People didn’t like that. People looked at me like I was a right-wing MAGA. MAGA has this terrible connotation for so many people, and you know what? It just lit a fire,” she commented.
