Crystal Palace vs Tottenham Hotspur: game time, live blog and how to watch online

Tottenham Hotspur is flying high. They have seven wins from eight games and just last weekend defeated London “rivals” West Ham United. However, Sunday's opponents, Crystal Palace, cannot buy a victory. The only wins this season have come against lower league teams in the cup competition who have been winless in the league and are in the relegation zone.

Does anyone else sense a storm brewing?

Glasner-Ball didn't really get going after showing promising signs for the Eagles last season. The loss of Michael Olise has hit them hard and Tottenham-linked Eberechi Eze and Adam Wharton are struggling with their form. Spurs. on the other hand, they seem to be in good shape. Dejan Kulusevski and Brennan Johnson have reached a new level, and the addition of Dominic Solanke to the squad has seemingly boosted the attack even further.

Even without captain Son Heung-min, the Lilywhites are likely to have this game under control. But expectations are one thing and real life is another. Let's see if things go as smoothly as on paper.

Adjust thread rules

The match thread rules are the same as always. All visitors who come here for the first time are warmly welcome! We're glad you're here! Wipe your feet, mind the gap, and be sure to check out the other pages of this excellent site. However, while you're here, we have a few rules and regulations:

  • Absolutely no links to illegal streams. They are evil and get us into trouble. Violators will be warned or banned.
  • We have rules against “relentless negativity.” Nobody likes a negative Nancy. Don't be knee-jerk and post outlandish or hurtful things just because you're frustrated.
  • In this sense, direct insults to players or match officials are not permitted. It's okay to say “Wow, that was a really bad call,” but it's NOT okay to excessively berate said officer over a call you didn't like.
  • Treat other people in the match thread the way you would want someone else to treat your grandmother. Be nice. This is a community of fans, not an unmoderated message board.
  • NO SPIDERS!
  • Although we don't have a policy against profanity, please try to keep the naughty words at bay. In addition, statements that are sexist, racist, transphobic or homophobic in nature will be immediately deleted and you will be blocked immediately. This is an open, supportive community.

Have fun and COYS!
