Best and worst PFF grades from the Panthers' Week 6 loss to the Falcons

Week 6 brought us another double-digit loss for the Carolina Panthers. But at least there was another encouraging performance from a certain position group.

Here are the team's best and worst Pro Football Focus grades since the 38-20 loss to the Atlanta Falcons:

The best of the offense

1. LG Damien Lewis: 80.42. RG Robert Hunt: 77.93. C Brady Christensen: 76.04. WR David Moore: 74.85. RT Yosh Nijman: 68.0

The Hog Mollies put their protective helmets back on and allowed just six pressures and zero sacks from quarterback Andy Dalton. They also paved the way for running back Chuba Hubbard, who rushed for 92 yards on 18 carries.

If you expand this list to the top six offensive grades for Carolina in Week 6, left tackle Ikem Ekwonu would join the group with an overall grade of 67.9.

The worst offense

12. QB Andy Dalton: 59,213. RB Chuba Hubbard: 58,514. WR Jonathan Mingo: 54,615. TE Ja'Tavion Sanders: 51,616. TE Ian Thomas: 49.9

Dalton had two ill-timed interceptions, with the first coming from the Atlanta 32-yard line, leaving the score just eight points behind.

Sanders and Thomas were each credited with one drop.

The best of defense

Harris recorded a team-high three pressures.

Horn allowed just the 3-yard touchdown reception on the day to beat Drake London by four scores. He also stopped two pass attempts.

The worst defense

Jackson, Thurman, Smith-Wade and Wooten were all in the red on their tackling grades – which ranged from 19.5 to 26.0.
