Successful dress rehearsal!

Bayern confidently won 3-0 (2-0) in the top game on Saturday afternoon against fourth-placed Union Berlin. It is the German record champions' third clean sheet game within a week. For the first time in four and a half years (!), Bayern have kept a clean sheet in three consecutive Bundesliga games.

Vincent Kompany's team is taking the momentum from their recent victories in the cup in Mainz (4-0) and in the league in Bochum (5-0) and is ready for the important duel in the Champions League on Wednesday (9 p.m.). Benfica Lisbon prepared.

Union captain Trimmel on the microphone on “Sky” after the game: “We can live with it. Bayern were the favorites and have brutal quality.”
