Arkansas Razorbacks vs. TCU Horned Frogs

Arkansas Razorbacks vs. TCU Horned Frogs

FORT WORTH, Texas – The Arkansas Razorbacks are in Fort Worth to see if they can repeat last week's upset win over No. 1 Kansas in an exhibition game.

The thought was that this would be the Hogs' first opportunity to see how they stuck together in front of a road crowd. But by 6 p.m., the line at the front was all Razorbacks, and a half hour before the game there were two purple jerseys in a large contingent of reds.

A fan in the arena can ask Arkansas coach John Calipari a question by scanning a QR code on the video board. They were supposed to do the same for TCU, but when the promo rolled, there didn't seem to be a TCU fan in the building.

Five minutes until tipoff and the official count is 18 TCU fans and maybe 1,000 Razorbacks fans. The audience is now treated to the hype video from the Razorbacks home arena, only with lower sound quality than Bud Walton as they try to keep the volume down so the Horned Frogs don't have such a bad time a few miles from their campus .

First quarter

Boogie Fland was already up to no good when he nearly got the steal and a fast break before throwing it out of bounds near midcourt on the Horned Frogs' first possession. Ivisic then blocked TCU's opening shot.

However, it's the Hogs who give up the first turnover, leading to an ally-oop before Ivisic gives the Razorbacks the lead by draining a three-pointer from the top of the key. Arkansas leads 3-2 with 8:19 left in the first quarter.

Thiero then carries out the quick break pass over the right side to the edge, where the dunk makes the final score 5:3.
