“I have always been committed to empowering women to live life, to speak openly and to lead by example, even when it's hard,” said the actress. New York Times Best-selling author and vegan food personality, Tabitha Brown. “You never know who needs to hear your story or who may quietly benefit from your openness, and this campaign allows me to implement that philosophy. This is a moment of change and I am proud to share my story in the hope that I can encourage other women suffering from bladder leakage to no longer be held back. Now is the time.

Brown launched a nationwide appeal September 30thand asked women who suffer from bladder weakness what they would do if bladder weakness didn't hold them back. The responses confirmed many of Always Discreet's recent survey findings and provided real context about how women's lives are impacted:

  • “I would laugh more – laughing after 45 is like playing roulette!” – 73% of survey participants said they would like to laugh more.
  • “Jump with my child at the trampoline park” – 80% of survey participants said they simply want to play with their children/grandchildren more.
  • “OMG I would love to go to spin class with my girls instead of having to do it at home because of bladder leaks #momlifebelike” – relatable to the 59% of women who just want to go to the gym and/or take fitness classes more often.
  • “Take any kind of road trip without having to constantly stop” – this is the opinion of 76% of survey participants who agree that they could drive anywhere without having to worry.
  • “Wear sexier clothes on your date night” – in line with the 63% of survey respondents who said the same.

Based on the volume of responses, Always Discreet immediately jumped in to bring some of those wishes to life through gifts like comedy show tickets, dance classes, workout gear, and gear like shoes, watches, and bikes. Always Discreet's efforts to turn these desires into reality celebrates the first step in reducing the limitations caused by bladder leaks.

“We knew that bladder leaks have a negative impact on women, but we wanted to learn more about the depth and severity with which bladder leaks change women's lives,” said Balaka Niyazee, senior vice president of P&G Feminine Care North America. “The data from our survey speaks for itself because we see women who just want to do normal, everyday things like travel, laugh more or exercise. But there was also worrying data about how bladder leaks prevent women from major complications.” We're honored to join Tabitha on this journey that empowers women to live life to the fullest, and you can with Always Discreet , which absorbs leaks and odors in seconds.
