Harris airs an ad mocking Trump about the debate while watching the Alabama-Georgia football game

Vice President Kamala Harris ran a television ad urging former President Donald Trump for another debate as he attended a college football game between Alabama and Georgia.

“Winners never give in to a challenge,” said the 30-second commercial that aired during the game. “Champions know that it can be done anytime, anywhere. But losers, they whine and complain and take their ball home.”

It continues with a clip of Trump missing a putt on the golf course before Harris mocks him on stage.

“Well, Donald, I hope you’ll reconsider meeting me on the debate stage,” she says.

“If you have something to say, say it to my face.”

Her team had planned to rent a plane Saturday to fly a banner reading “Trump's Punting in the Second Debate” over Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, but poor weather conditions forced them to cancel.

Trump was reluctant to debate Harris again, although he claimed victory when they met in September. Most people, including some of Trump's own advisers, believe Harris won on this occasion. But Harris has repeatedly pressured the former president to agree to another debate.

“I believe we owe it to the voters to have another debate because this election and what is at stake could not be more important,” she said during a campaign rally in Charlotte, North Carolina, earlier this month.

AccordinglyThe Washington PostTrump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung said upon learning of the ad, “Kamala Harris would never show up to a sporting event like this (Alabama-Georgia) because she would be booed out of the stadium and embarrassed.” The Independent the Trump campaign has reached out for comment.
