In addition to the transfers, Georgetown has nine freshmen on the team, led by forwards Caleb Williams and Drew McKenna. Both are DMV products and both should be first-year contributors to Cooley.

In the second year under Cooley, success will be measured by improvement. The Hoyas need to win more than two games in the Big East this season.

They may find it difficult to do this. However, if the new transfers and true freshman work well together and everything falls into place, perhaps the Hoyas could rise from the basement of the Big East.
