Former President Trump touted an American “golden age” if he were re-elected to the Oval Office as he made his final campaign pitch to voters in the battleground state of Pennsylvania, where he was backed by high-profile supporters including the baseball legend's son Accompanying Roberto Clemente and podcast host Megyn Kelly.

“Their paychecks will be bigger. Your streets will be safer and cleaner. Your communities will be richer and your future will be brighter than ever.”,” Trump said that on Monday evening in Pittsburgh.

“This will be the golden age of America,” the Republican presidential candidate said to applause and cheers from the crowd.

Trump's final day on the campaign trail included rallies and stops in North Carolina and Pennsylvania before he headed to Grand Rapids, Michigan, later Monday for his final rally before Election Day. During his time in Pittsburgh, he was joined by Roberto Clemente Jr., a former baseball player and son of the Pittsburgh Pirates legend.

“I am very proud to be here. For the first time I had to take a step forward. And it is very important to me to support this man because I believe tomorrow is a time change. … The name Clemente, “It means benevolence and unity,” Clemente Jr. told the audience.

“I believe in everything you stand for now and in the ability to make change happen for our families. My three children are very young and we live here in Pennsylvania. And I told this man that I was committed to helping RFK JR.” . with… our children and to make America healthy again,” the son of the Puerto Rican baseball legend continued.

Shortly after 7:30 p.m., Trump took the stage at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh and announced more than an hour after the rally began that he had just heard that podcast host Joe Rogan had officially endorsed him for president.

“It just came through the wires that Joe Rogan just endorsed me,” Trump said after Megyn Kelly joined him on stage where she was rallying support for the Trump-Vance ticket.

“This is so beautiful. And he doesn't do that. He doesn’t,” Trump continued, noting that he did a three-hour podcast interview with Rogan last month. “And he tends to be a little bit more liberal than some of the people in this room.”

Pennsylvania is also a key battleground this cycle, with Keystone State voters seen as the ones most likely to do so determine the outcome of the federal election. Trump narrowly won the state in 2016 when he successfully campaigned against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, but lost the state in 2020 to now-President Biden.

The former president took a shot at his Democratic opponent, Vice President Harris, on Monday night, citing his promise to “fix” what the Biden-Harris administration had “broken.”

“That’s all you really need to know. It's simple, not particularly nice as a statement, but simple: Kamala broke it, I'm going to fix it,” Trump said.

Harris will also hold an event in Pittsburgh on Monday night where she will be joined by a handful of celebrities, including singer Katy Perry, who is expected to perform. Trump criticized Harris for promoting celebrities during her campaign rallies, pointing out that pop singer Beyoncé was visiting Harris in Texas last month when some attendees reportedly believed Beyoncé would perform during the rally. Ultimately, Beyoncé only addressed the crowd about her support of Harris and didn't sing.

“She tried to get stars, but they actually didn’t make it,” Trump said. “She went and got Beyoncé. Beyoncé came in, everyone was expecting a few songs, and there were no songs. There was no luck. It was just like, 'Give me my check. I want to get out of here.' '… She should have learned that from crooked Hillary: Always put the star behind you.”

In his final speech to the state's voters, Trump addressed many of his shared campaign points, including ending the illegal immigration crisis and the drug crisis.

“They are letting in people from mental asylums and mental institutions from all over the world, from Venezuela to the Congo in Africa. They steal our jobs and they steal countless American lives,” he said. “You kill a lot of people, a lot more than you read. The day I take office, the migrant invasion will end and the rebuilding of our country will begin.”

Trump again called for the death penalty for any migrant found guilty of murdering an American citizen and law enforcement officer, which was met with applause from the crowd. He also said he would impose tariffs on Mexico and China if the deadly synthetic opioid fentanyl is found in the U.S. after coming from those countries.

“We will impose a tariff on Mexico if they don't immediately stop sending this horrible stuff to this country. And we’ll do it to China too if China doesn’t stop,” he said.

Polls show Trump and Harris running neck-and-neck in Pennsylvania as both candidates made repeated visits to the state in recent weeks, including repeated rallies in cities like Reading and Allentown. Trump said during the rally that he was expecting “big numbers in Pennsylvania.”
