Joe Rogan announces his presidential endorsement hours before Election Day

Popular podcaster Joe Rogan has endorsed Donald Trump, reinforcing the former president's appeal to young men in the final 24 hours of the election.

In a social media post on Monday evening, Rogan – whose podcast The Joe Rogan Experience is widely considered the most listened to in the world – said his latest guest Elon Musk had made a “compelling” argument for four more years of Trump.

“The great and powerful Elon Musk. If it wasn't for him, we'd be screwed. “He makes what I think is the most compelling pro-Trump argument you'll ever hear, and I agree with him on every level,” Rogan said on Musk's social network X, formerly known as Twitter.

“For the record, yes, this is an endorsement of Trump. Have fun with the podcast.”

Trump himself thanked the podcaster during his final rally on Monday evening in Michigan, when he apparently received news of the support while still on stage.

“Oh wow, I have some more big news. “I’m just beginning to understand that,” Trump said.

“Someone who is very, very respected asked me to do his show two weeks ago and I said why not? For me this is very important because it is by far the greatest thing in the world…

“And it just came through the news that Joe Rogan is supporting me. Thanks, Joe! This is so beautiful.”

Rogan, 57, became the highest-paid podcast in the world after signing an exclusive $100 million deal with Spotify in 2020.

Its audience is predominantly male and leans toward conservatives and independents. Polls show that support for Trump is stronger among men than women and is particularly strong among men ages 18 to 29.
