Hitpig

What would a road trip be without some music? Peaceful? Meditative? Well, the rugged pig star of Hitpig! will never know… In a new clip shared with Animation magazine From our friends at Viva Pictures, the dull bounty hunter struggles to direct his precious cargo: an easily distracted, high distracting elephant named Pickles.

Director: Cinzia Angelini (Mila) and David Feiss (Cow and chicken), Hitpig! based on the best-selling children's book Pete & Pickles by Pulitzer-winning author/cartoonist Berkeley Breathed (Bloom County), with a screenplay by Dave Rosenbaum & Tyler Werrin (The Lorax) and features a musical score by Isabella Summers of Florence & the Machine.

Summary: Hitpig (Jason Sudeikis) is a clever bounty hunting pig who catches escaped animals and returns them to their owners. His next mission is his biggest yet: to bring back a dancing elephant named Pickles (Lilly Singh) to an insane Vegas showman (Rainn Wilson), for a million dollars. The mission quickly escalates into a wild adventure around the world. When danger threatens, it's up to Hitpig to save the day, but he can't do it alone. He realizes that some things are more important than a paycheck and finds the greatest gift of all: friends.

The voice cast also includes RuPaul, Flavor Flav, Hannah Gadsby, Anitta, Lorraine Ashbourne, Andy Serkis, Charlie Adler and Shelby Young.

The film is produced by Aniventure (Animal farm, stitch head) with animation from Cinesite (The Addams Family 2, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem). Producers are Adam Nagle (Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank, Cracké) and Dave Rosenbaum (Animal Farm, The Secret Life of Pets).

Hitpig! will be released in US cinemas on November 1st via Viva Pictures. Read more about the making of the film in Animation magazineYou can find the report from December 24 here.
