Rams News: Demarcus Robinson came on after Puka Nacua was ejected

Rams News: Demarcus Robinson came on after Puka Nacua was ejected

Although Puka Nacua was sent off in the second quarter of Sunday's game, the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Seattle Seahawks in Week 9 of the NFL season after Matthew Stafford hit Demarcus Robinson for a walk-off touchdown in overtime. LA's offense started the season slowly but has been putting up points in recent games, and Robinson may be getting used to the receiver he and LA envisioned when he re-signed with the team last offseason.

It was an exciting win and it must be reassuring for LA to lose Nacua, but see players like Robinson step up (he played two strong games in a row for the Rams) and help the team find a way to emerge as winner.

Happy win on Monday, Rams fans, please comment whatever you like and thanks for checking out Turf Show Times!

“The Rams did that on Sunday, winning their third straight game with a 26-20 overtime victory over the Seahawks in front of 68,632 at Lumen Field.

Unlike their season-opening loss in Detroit, the Rams' defense prevented an opponent from scoring a touchdown on the first possession of overtime. Quarterback Matthew Stafford capitalized, throwing a 39-yard touchdown pass to receiver Demarcus Robinson for a win that improved the Rams record to 4-4.”

“This was an old-fashioned heavyweight battle, and the Rams didn't land the knockout blow until overtime when Matthew Stafford connected with Demarcus Robinson for a game-winning 39-yard touchdown. It was an unlikely ending for a Rams offense that managed just 28 yards in the fourth quarter. The Rams were only able to win because of a tremendous performance from their defense, which had three interceptions. The big throw came from Kamren Kinchens, who had the longest play of the year in the NFL with a pick six of 103 yards. That was one of the many highlights of a defense that sacked Geno Smith seven times. Two weeks ago it looked like the Rams might be hot sellers at the trade deadline, but after this win they are just half a game out of first place in the NFC West and look like a real threat to win the division. ”

“So much for the Hollywood sellout. The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Seattle Seahawks in an overtime thriller 26:20 and climbed back to 4:4.

After Kenneth Walker III was exhausted on fourth-and-1 early in overtime, Matthew Stafford connected with Demarcus Robinson for a 39-yard touchdown to end the game and seal the LA victory.

Two red zone interceptions by Geno Smith plagued the Seattle offense, with rookie Kam Kinchens firing one the other way 103 yards for a stunning touchdown.

PFF's dedicated team of evaluators worked hard, analyzing each player on every play in real time. Grades and data will be available tomorrow at 12pm EST after a thorough review.”
