Updated NFC East Rankings; Dak Prescott is clearly limping

Good morning, Dallas Cowboys Nation. Things are dark and gloomy again on Monday after the loss to the Atlanta Falcons in which both Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb suffered injuries.

Haven't the football powers that Cowboys fans have to contend with experienced enough?

Apparently not. The silver lining, however, is that it appears Jerry Jones will be more open to a trade by Tuesday afternoon's trade deadline than he was before the team's Week 9 loss.

We'll have to see if Dallas can salvage the season, but things are looking bleak at this point.

In the meantime, let's take a look at some headlines that are making waves. Indulge.

After Week 9, the Cowboys fell to 3-5 but remain in third place in the NFC East thanks to the struggling Giants. The fact that the 7-2 Commanders are led by Dan Campbell and the 6-2 Philadelphia Eagles' offense is led by Kellen Moore adds insult to injury. Oh, what could have been.

The Cowboys can't catch a break. The injury threat struck again Sunday afternoon when star quarterback Dak Prescott was knocked out. After the game, Dak could clearly be seen limping, which hopefully wasn't anything too serious.
