Ariana Grande followed the yellow brick carpet instead of the red carpet on her way to the premiere of ” Evil in Sydney, Australia. To celebrate her role as Glinda, the pop star and actress fittingly wears a pink dress that looks like it came straight from Oz – although it's actually custom-made by Vivienne Westwood.

Featuring a voluminous tulle skirt, corset-style bodice, sheer puffed sleeve at the shoulder and sparkling star embellishments, Grande's dress pays homage to the costume famously worn by actress Billie Burke as Glinda in the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz.

Grande topped off Vivienne Westwood's perfect take on Glinda's look with a diamond butterfly choker by Lorraine Schwartz, stylist Mimi Cuttrell shared on Instagram. The necklace was another nod to the Glinda film ensemble from the 1939 classic.

Cynthia Erivo, Grandes Evil The co-star, who plays Elphaba, wore a sculptural Louis Vuitton gown with a sleek, strapless corset bodice and statement skirt for the Nov. 3 premiere at the State Theater. The black dress was a modern nod to the Wicked Witch of the West, without the traditional witch hat. Like Grande, Erivo also wore a choker — her choker featured a statement lion, a piece by Roberto Coin, according to Fashion Credits stylist Jason Bolden, tagged on Instagram.

Evilthe first part of the two-part film adaptation of the story will be in cinemas on November 22nd.
