Former President Barack Obama will hold a campaign rally in Milwaukee on Sunday, just two days before the election, pitting Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris against Republican former President Donald Trump.

Obama's return to Wisconsin to vote for Harris comes on the final day of in-person absentee voting in this key swing state. That's a fitting response, considering his first campaign visit was last week in Madison, on the first day of early voting.

As of Friday morning, Wisconsin voters had returned more than 1.3 million mail-in ballots. According to the Wisconsin Elections Commission, 801,083 of those were cast by in-person absentee ballot.

According to a post from the Wisconsin Democratic Party, the rally will be held at the Baird Center.

According to the post, the event will end before the Green Bay Packers game begins at 3:25 p.m.

Obama appeared last week with Harris' running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

Walz and his wife, Gwen Walz, will also return to Wisconsin on Monday as part of a “blitz” on the battlefield, according to the campaign.

They will speak at Get Out The Vote campaign events in La Crosse and Stevens Point this afternoon.

Trump's running mate, Ohio Sen. JD Vance, will also be in La Crosse on Monday, a Trump campaign official confirmed Friday night.

In the evening he will speak at a rally in Milwaukee.
