Will Rams WR play Seahawks today?

Will Rams WR play Seahawks today?

Puka Nacua injured his knee for the first time in training camp during a joint training session with the Los Angeles Chargers and had to sit out several weeks before the season. Then the injury worsened in Week 1 and he missed the next five games before returning in Week 8.

Although he didn't play the entire game, Nacua looked his usual self against the Vikings, catching seven passes for 106 yards in the Rams' win. Unfortunately, his knee problems recurred on Thursday when he suffered an accident during training and had to leave early.

He missed practice on Friday and is officially questionable to play against the Seahawks today, but here are the latest updates on the Rams receiver.

Puka Nacua injury update

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Nacua will at least give it a try today against the Seahawks. He is expected to “try to play” in Seattle, which bodes well for the Rams and their receiving corps as a whole.

When Nacua and Cooper Kupp are both healthy, the Rams' offense will look completely different.

Rams WR depth chart

starter Backup
WR1 Cooper Kupp Tutu Atwell
WR2 Puka Nacua Tyler Johnson
WR3 Demarcus Robinson Jordan Whittington

Nacua, Kupp and Robinson are expected to be the top wide receivers again, with Tyler Johnson and Tutu Atwell being the primary backups. Jordan Whittington is questionable, so he's not sure if he'll play, which would be his second straight missed game.
