Chappell Roan debuts new country-tinged song on SNL

Chappell Roan had a huge stack of hits under her belt and had the freedom to choose what she would play for her first appearance on “SNL.” But after singing the anthem “Pink Pony Club” as her first song, Roan instead performed a brand new song for her second performance of the night. Like new? It's so new that we don't even know the title of the song – it could titled “She Gets the Job Done.”

The country-tinged song is certainly different from Roan's other hits, with a violin in the middle and some twang in her voice. But it's still a Chappell Roan song, which means it's equipped with a shout-a-long chorus and impressive runs.

Watch the performance below.

Roan has had a summer of fame. After working as an artist for a decade, she opened for Olivia Rodrigo on the “GUTS” tour before rising to popularity with songs like “Good Luck, Babe!”, “Hot to Go” and “Pink Pony Club.” became the diagrams. She attracted record-breaking audiences at festivals and is expected to receive a number of Grammy nominations for next year's ceremony.

Given the new song's debut, could a new album – a follow-up to last year's The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess – be in the works?
