Oklahoma football looks to get back on the winning list on Saturday against FCS opponent Maine.

The Sooners (4-4, 1-4 SEC) have lost three straight games, each by double digits to Texas, South Carolina and Ole Miss. Waiting for them are the Black Bears (4-4), who are called Oklahoma. He paid $635,000 to come to Norman on Saturday.

Oklahoma quarterback Jackson Arnold played his best game of the season on Saturday in his first game with interim offensive coordinator Joe Jon Finley, completing 22 of 31 passes for 182 yards with two touchdowns and 39 rushing yards.

The game is obviously a must-win for Oklahoma and coach Brent Venables, as they are two wins away from bowl eligibility. Their other remaining games this season are against ranked opponents No. 23 Missouri, No. 14 Alabama and No. 16 LSU.

“Some weather models indicate a higher risk of severe weather beginning earlier in the afternoon, which could complicate our ability to complete the game,” Oklahoma Football posted on social media Friday. “The earlier start is also intended to allow everyone to enjoy the game and travel home safely before conditions deteriorate.”
