Free youth deer tags available at AGFC.com • Arkansas Game & Fish Commission

To receive youth deer tags, your youth hunter must have their own account in the AGFC licensing system. Visit www.agfc.com and click “Purchase License” in the top right corner of the website. Youth licensing options only appear under youth accounts. So if your youth hunter already has an account from previous years, be sure to log in under their account. If you have never set up an account for your new hunter, click the “Create Account” button to set it up. Your free deer tags will be listed in the Hunting section of the licensing system and will have the license code #YDT for residents and #YDTN for non-residents.

When using the AGFC smartphone app, be sure to sign out with your name and sign in to the youth's account to receive and use the youth's deer tags.

Once they receive their deer tags, the juveniles control their harvest just like the adults. They can use the mobile app www.agfc.com or call 833-289-2469 to check their deer at the harvest location. As long as their deer stay in their immediate vicinity until they get home, there is no need to physically tag them. If you cannot immediately check your deer through one of the three options (app, website, or phone), you will need to place a temporary physical tag on the deer that includes the hunter's name, customer identification number, date, time, zone, or The WMA indicated the harvest and the method they used. This paper tag must remain with the deer until the deer is inspected. Hunters have 12 hours to check their deer after harvest.
