“Fire Country” fans just received a major episode update from Diane Farr

Tierra del Fuego is making some big moves in Season 3, and one of them involves none other than Mama Leone herself.

The hit CBS drama is currently airing new episodes on Friday nights and the show revealed an incredible update with the actress Diane Farr. For the November 1 episode (airing at 9 p.m. ET), she not only portrays her character Sharon Leone, but also takes on the role of director. What's more, Tierra del Fuego made sure to highlight the latest step in Diane's TV career by posting a behind-the-scenes look on Instagram.

“This Friday @GetDianeFarr makes her directorial debut on @Firecountrycbs!” The caption read on October 26: “#behindthescenes photos at #smokeys, Station 42, the Leone Kitchen and the #Director's Office taken by cinematographer @whelan.stewart. Our #femalefilmmakerfriday is coming November 1st at 9pm/8pm @cbstv.”

When I saw Diane's incredible milestone Tierra del FuegoIt didn't take long for fans to get excited on social media.

“Congratulations!!! This season is on fire!!! 🔥🔥,” one person wrote in the comments. “Mama Leone takes the lead! I can’t wait to see it!” another declared. “This is going to be so good!!!” another viewer added.

So what exactly will Diane's directorial debut be about? Accordingly ColliderThe The episode is titled “Welcome to the Cult” and follows Bode Leone (Max Thieriot) as he begins his first day as a cadet in Cal Fire. He is also known as Jake Crawford (Jordan Calloway) discovers a remnant of how Bode and Gabriela Perez (Stephanie Arcila) made a mistake trying to save Tom “Gil” Gilmore (Paul Moniz de Sa)'s life in the third season premiere.

And if that's not enough, Diane might have more to do than just direct. When speaking with Women's world In September, she teased that there was more to come for Sharon, which she was particularly excited about.

“I'm so proud of the real experiences the writers bring to my character Sharon this season!” she told the outlet. “She's facing a crisis that I've lived with myself, and she's running straight toward it like she's running a fire, like I'm trying to do in my life. I hope the story ultimately inspires others to ask for help when they need it.”

We are definitely curious!
