Eva Longoria reveals 'single mistake' in investing in 'John Wick'

Eva Longoria has developed quite a bit of business savvy over the years, but she still has some regrets.

After “more than doubling” her $6 million investment John Wick After the 2014 premiere, the Golden Globe nominee admitted that she wished she had continued the hugely successful franchise, which recently celebrated its 10th anniversary.

“What makes me mad is that I had no connection with the others,” Longoria told Business Insider. “It was a one-time thing. That was the gamble. But that was my only mistake, that I didn’t stick to all the films.”

It was Longoria's agency, CAA, that offered her the opportunity while also raising funding for the project. “An agent, and he wasn't even my agent, he called me and said, 'You have money, you should put your money here,'” she added. “And I didn’t even know how a movie was made. I asked myself, 'What do you mean by gap funding?'”
