Police said Edgar opened fire near two different intersections in downtown Orlando early Friday morning, killing two people and wounding six.

Currently, few details are known about Edgar's life.

Edgar was arrested by the Orange County Sheriff's Office in December on a charge of grand larceny of a motor vehicle, records show. Officers said they observed Edgar driving a car that had previously been reported stolen from an apartment complex.

According to a report, Edgar was taken to the Orange County Juvenile Assessment Center after his arrest. The outcome of the criminal case is unknown because juvenile court records are confidential under Florida law.

Edgar attended elementary and middle school at Orange County Public Schools but did not attend high school, school officials confirmed.
