Vice President Kamala Harris will host a “Get Out The Vote” campaign rally in the Appleton area on Friday afternoon, her campaign announced Wednesday evening.

The location has not yet been announced, but it is scheduled for 3 to 7 p.m., just four days before the November 5 general election.

The event will be preceded by a 9 p.m. campaign stop in Milwaukee, which will also feature performances by GloRilla, Flo Milli, MC Lyte, The Isley Brothers and DJ GEMINI GILLY.

Harris, the Democratic nominee for U.S. president, is in a tough race with the Republican nominee, former President Donald Trump.

The announcement of her campaign came as Harris held a rally in Madison on Wednesday evening, billed as part of her “When We Vote We Win” rally and concert series.

The Wisconsin Democratic Party said registration was required for the event but attendance was not guaranteed. Registration can be done at mobilize.us/wisdems/event/738186.

Wisconsin is considered an important swing state on the way to the White House.

On Wednesday, Trump held a rally outside Green Bay. where he wore a bright orange high-visibility vest as he spoke to about 10,000 people at the Resch Center as part of his response to President Joe Biden's comments in which he appeared to call Trump supporters “trash” while discussing comments at the Resch Center spoke Trump rally.

Trump will also hold a rally in Milwaukee on Friday. His event will take place at the Fiserv Forum.
