Cypress hosts two of the busiest polling locations during the first week of early voting

With one week of early voting remaining in Harris County before the Nov. 5 general election, Cy Fair voters will be able to choose from multiple polling locations near them.

Using the numbers

During the first four days of early voting, Oct. 21-24, nearly 17% of all votes cast in person at 88 locations across the county were cast at 12 locations in the Cy-Fair area.

The county's two busiest locations to date are both in Cypress. 14,917 voters cast ballots at the Richard & Meg Weekley Community Center, and 13,432 ballots were cast at Juergen's Hall Community Center during the first four days of early voting.

To date, more than 76,500 voters have visited one of the 12 polling locations in the Cy-Fair area.

What's next?

Election Day is November 5th, but voters can cast their votes as early as November 1st. Polls are open in Harris County at the following times:

  • 21st–26th Oct: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m
  • Oct 27: 12-7 p.m
  • 28-30 Oct: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m
  • Oct. 31: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m
  • November 1st, 5th: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m
