Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Walker Buhler and his wife, McKenzie MarcinekThey have been going strong since they were young.

The couple first met in kindergarten, but didn't start talking until eighth grade.

“In eighth grade, our class went to the mall and McKenzie came up to me and asked if I wanted to walk around with her,” Buehler said Within weddings in the fall of 2022. “I was quite shy at the time and I remember thinking about it and admiring how certain she must have been that she had done that. I was fascinated.”

The duo got engaged in November 2020 and tied the knot in December 2021.

“I come from a large Catholic family and before my grandmother died, I promised her that I would get married in our parish,” explained Marcinek Within weddings in autumn 2022.

Almost three years after their marriage, the two welcomed their first child, daughter Finley, in February 2024.

Later that year, McKenzie assisted Walker in the World Series when the Dodgers faced the New York Yankees in October 2024.

September 2017

Buehler was called up to the majors — and Marcinek celebrated with a sweet social media post.

“Congratulations baby, I'm so happy your dreams are finally coming true and being called!!” she wrote alongside a photo of the couple. “I can’t wait to see you in LA!!”

The duo attended the Dodgers Blue Diamond Gala, with Buehler wearing a navy blue suit and Marcinek wearing a yellow dress.

October 2020

Marcinek celebrated the Dodgers' World Series win with an Instagram tribute post to Buehler.

“It's been an absolute dream watching this crazy journey of baseball life and being by your side!” she shared at the time. “It’s crazy to think that watching you play in high school was just the beginning of it all. Thank you for staying true to yourself and I’m so excited to be your wife in just over a year 😘I love you more than words can express.”

November 2020

The two got engaged after heading home from spring training due to the COVID shutdown.

“We came home and I proposed the next night,” Buehler said Within weddings in 2022.

December 2021

Buehler and Marcinek tied the knot in December 2021.

“My amazing HUSBAND 🤍,” Marcinek wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her and Buehler kissing at their wedding.

January 2024

The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter.

“We welcomed Finley Wren Buehler into the world on 1/31/24 💕,” Marcinek captioned an Instagram post from Finley.

October 2024

Marcinek celebrated Buehler's participation in the World Series with a sweet family photo.

“We're taking Finley Wren to the World Series!” she wrote via Instagram.
