Clinton will be joined by Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz, who stopped in Waukesha and Manitowoc on Monday. Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance was also in Wausau on Monday and later in Racine.

It will be Clinton's first campaign stop in Wisconsin after rallies in other battleground states including Arizona and North Carolina. No locations for Clinton's stops have been announced yet. Former President Barack Obama gathered in Madison earlier this month.

“In their latest attempt to convince voters that decency and character are on the ballot this November, Wisconsin Democrats are turning to Bill Clinton to make their case. Good luck with that,” Wisconsin Republican Party Chairman Brian Schimming said in a statement, referring to a sex scandal during Clinton’s presidency that led to an impeachment vote in the House.
