In a recent interview with The Sun, Nicole Kidman opened up about her experience filming her latest film Baby girlwhich has received great recognition. One of the main parts of the interview was when Nicole talked about playing a sexually charged character in the film. “There was a tremendous amount of exchange and trust and then frustration. It's like, 'Don't touch me.' There were times during filming where I was like, 'I don't want to have an orgasm anymore.' Don't come close to me. I hate doing this. I don't care if I'm never touched again in my life!' I'm over it. It was so present for me the whole time that it was almost like burnout,” she said.

Fans had a lot to say about this rather strange revelation. The first reaction was amused support. “I actually support her, let Nicole be weird in public,” said one netizen. “We've all been there,” enthused another, while another fan commented, “I'll have everything she eats.” Others gave the reason for this strange confession and said it was more about promoting the film close. “This is just the new PR move to create buzz for your film? “Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield just shared a similar anecdote about their little romance movie,” one said. “Ok, that’s good marketing,” was another mostly positive comment. “Cheap way to get attention. “I always thought she was more elegant than that,” was another fan's more honest statement.

Nicole also said that behind the lens was the director Halina Reijn, whom she trusted. “I don't think I would have been able to work with a man. I actually think I was only able to do that with her because we were both sitting there talking. We've talked about so many things and still do, it's so mysterious and vulnerable – but it's safe,” she said. “When I was in the hands of Halina, I knew that she would not exploit me. I didn't feel exploited,” the Oscar winner continued.

Nicole received some of the best reviews of her career for her role in the film when it premiered at the Venice Film Festival in September. Baby girl hits US theaters on December 25th.
