Influencer Brianna LaPaglia, also known as “Brianna Chickenfry,” expresses shock after country singer Zach Bryan announced their breakup on social media.

In an Instagram Story posted on Oct. 22, Bryan revealed that he and LaPaglia had split, adding, “I respect and love her with all my heart.”

“She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and I will always thank her for that,” he continued.

The “Something in the Orange” singer explained that he thinks the two should split up after “personally having had an incredibly tough year and fighting through some pretty bad things.”

“I am not perfect and never will be. Please respect Brianna's privacy and space in this matter and if you hold her in your heart, mine as well,” he wrote. “For all that I am and for everyone I let down, I am sorry. I do my best in everything. I have let down people who love me and especially myself.”

About an hour after Bryan posed, LaPaglia also took to her Instagram Story and shared that she felt “really blind.”

“Hey guys, I'm feeling really caught off guard at the moment. I'm going to step off social media for a while and try to heal privately. When I'm ready, I'll be back and ready to talk,” she wrote.

LaPaglia then thanked followers for their “kind words” before writing, “Remember that you are so loved and that everything will always be okay.”

The “Barstool Sports” host first revealed on a July 2023 episode of her podcast “PlanBri Uncut” that she had been “hanging out” with Bryan for three weeks.

“It's fun, it's casual and yeah, I just wanted to bring it up because the whole internet is freaking out and people are doing shit,” she said.

About a month later, LaPaglia publicly called herself Bryan's girlfriend for the first time on an episode of her podcast “BFFs,” which she co-hosts with Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards.

At the time, she explained that she initially kept the relationship a secret because “I just got out of a relationship, he just got out of a relationship,” but decided to go public when a photo went viral.

On July 14, LaPaglia shared a series of photos with Bryan to mark their one-year anniversary, writing that it was “a year filled with more love than I thought possible and louder laughter than any year before.”

“You made me appreciate all the things that were always right in front of me. You brought me home to my family and helped me love myself again,” she captioned the post. “There is nothing I wouldn't do for you. My person forever. I love you, my Zachary.”

LaPaglia's last post with Bryan was on October 11, when she shared a photo of him with a guitar next to her. She wrote: “How do you want to live a life that you look back on fondly?”

Bryan primarily posts about his music on his Instagram page, but the singer shared a similar photo location in Los Angeles on the same day as LaPaglia.

He captioned the post: “We will lose loved ones and never let them die, we will grow up and keep them alive, it will take undeniable pressure, our timing will be off at times, you will chase the unknown and it give too much.”
