FOX broadcast team announced for West Virginia vs. Kansas State

FOX broadcast team announced for West Virginia vs. Kansas State

West Virginia has another big stage ahead of them this Saturday as they take on No. 17 Kansas State. The game will be featured on the primetime broadcast at 7:30 a.m. on FOX and Connor Onion will be the play-by-play man while Mark Helfrich will serve as the color analyst.

Head coach Neal Brown spoke about his disappointment in last week's loss to Iowa State, admitting that everything from the new uniforms to the coal rush, the fans and everything leading up to the game was great, but they didn't get it right to make the evening a complete evening.

Brown is currently 3-16 against ranked opponents during his tenure as West Virginia's head coach, but with a win over K-State the Mountaineers would position themselves well to make a run in the back half of the schedule to get to Dallas Big 12 Championship Game.

Kansas State is coming off a thrilling 31-28 road win over Colorado, a game in which they led by two points for most of the evening. The only blemish on K-State's schedule is a crushing 38-9 loss to BYU on the road, where things quickly spiraled out of control late in the second quarter and early in the third quarter. The Wildcats actually outscored the Cougars 367-241 in this game.
