It's going to be warm in New York this weekend. What to Expect in Binghamton

While last week consisted of cold mornings and cold nights with cool afternoons in between, warmer weather is in store for the Southern Tier this weekend.

National Weather Service Binghamton meteorologist Jake Chalupsky said he expects an “absolutely beautiful weekend” with a “warming trend” over the next few days. So if you want to spend some time outdoors, these could be the days for it.

Expect highs of 63 degrees on Friday, 65 degrees on Saturday and 67 degrees on Sunday, all under relatively clear and sunny skies.

Weather this Friday in Binghamton

On Friday morning, frost is expected in some areas before 9 a.m., then sunny skies and a high of 63 degrees in the afternoon.

According to Chalupsky, colder temperatures will prevail Friday night with a low of 35 degrees and clear skies.

Weather this Saturday in Binghamton

Frost is expected in some areas Saturday morning, but the afternoon will feature “clear skies and light winds,” according to Chalupsky, with the high temperature of 65 degrees, only slightly warmer than Friday.

Saturday night should also offer clear skies and be slightly warmer than Friday night with a low of 36 degrees.

Weather this Sunday in Binghamton

Sunday morning will also see frost in some areas, but will be the warmest day of the weekend with a high of 67 degrees and clear skies.

Sunday night will see mostly clear skies with a low of 42 degrees.
