The Bears' Caleb Williams inexplicably throws the pass off his teammate's facemask

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams had a head-shaking moment during the team's Week 6 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday in London.

In the first quarter, with Williams trailing 3-0, he dropped back to pass and attempted to send the ball down the field with a sidearm pass. However, the rookie quarterback threw the ball directly into the face mask of Bears offensive lineman Matt Pryor.

The piece immediately spread online and Williams came under scrutiny.

In the second quarter, Williams made up for it with a nifty play-action pass. He faked out the Jaguars defense and found tight end Cole Kmet on the end. Kmet passed through a would-be Jacksonville tackler and scampered into the end zone.

Williams then found Kmet for another touchdown just before halftime.

Chicago took a 14-3 lead into the locker room.

Williams was 12 of 15 for 128 yards, two touchdown passes and one interception. He also led the team with 56 rushing yards.

Williams has found success in spurts in five games this season. The No. 1 overall pick showcased his passing prowess last week in a 36-10 win over the Carolina Panthers, throwing for 304 yards and two touchdowns.
