Tyreek Hill explodes on the sideline as the Dolphins are beaten at home by the Titans

The Miami Dolphins' season went from bad to worse in a matter of hours. The team started its matchup with the Tennessee Titans 1-2 (the only win being an improbable late comeback against a winless team) after quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion in Week 2.

Although South Florida native Tyler Huntley had success as Lamar Jackson's deputy with the Baltimore Ravens, he looked overwhelmed in his Miami debut against the Titans. Despite Will Levis leaving the game early, Tyreek Hill and the offense couldn't do much, and Miami is now 1-3 on the year.

The Dolphins were down 22-6 midway through the fourth quarter as Titans backup Mason Rudolph looked stronger than Huntley. Hill, who had just four catches for 23 yards, let his visible frustration boil over on the sideline.

Hill was caught on cameras for Miami's coaching staff to hear after the Dolphins showed no signs of getting up from the mat. Some trouble was to be expected with Huntley under center, but things got pretty dire when Miami fell behind at home to Rudolph and the winless Titans.

Even though both Hill and Jaylen Waddle were healthy, Huntley didn't even manage a 100-yard passing game. While McDaniel's offense is very complex and relies on precise timing, it should be considered very concerning that Huntley cannot succeed with the weapons around him.

In addition to degrading Tagovailoa, Tennessee's defense was able to stop Miami's explosive running game and pressure Huntley when he fell behind. Such breakdowns have become rare in the Mike McDaniel era, but everyone has a stinker now and then.

Hill's sentiment is understandable to some extent, as Miami is watching their playoff hopes fade away in a very depressing way. Unless Huntley somehow plays like a right-handed Tagovailoa in the next few games, the Dolphins could have a very high pick in next year's draft.
