Titans QB Will Levis (shoulder) leaves the MNF game against the Dolphins

MIAMI – Titans starting quarterback Will Levis suffered a right shoulder injury while diving for a first down in the first quarter of Tennessee's Monday Night Football game against the Miami Dolphins.

Levis struggled for the first down, landing awkwardly on his shoulder as he plummeted toward the marker. He went straight into the blue medical tent as the Titans' special unit moved in to punt.

Backup quarterback Mason Rudolph came on offense on the Titans' next series with 4:14 remaining in the first quarter. He led Tennessee on three scoring drives, leading to a 9-6 halftime score.

The Titans said Levis' return was questionable.

“If he can play, he’ll go,” coach Brian Callahan said during a halftime interview.

Levis attempted to throw on the sideline but grimaced as he threw the football.

Rudolph stayed with the QB as the Tennessee offense took the field for its first series of the second half. He stayed in the game as the Titans increased their lead.

Before he was injured, Levis threw his sixth interception of the season, tying him with Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson for the most interceptions in the NFL. Levis' nine turnovers (6 interceptions, 3 fumbles) are also a league high.
