2024 election updates: Mark Cuban clashes with Trump's team

Senator JD Vance appeared on the “Joe Rogan Experience” on Thursday and discussed a wide range of topics related to his experiences and the campaign.

During the three-hour conversation, Vance discussed his skepticism about the COVID-19 vaccine with Rogan, who made false claims about vaccines on his show.

The COVID-19 vaccines have proven effective in preventing serious illness and death from the virus. Side effects of the vaccine include “pain, redness or swelling at the injection site, fatigue, headache, muscle aches, chills, fever and nausea” and usually resolve within a few days, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Vance claimed on the show that he was “red pilled” after experiencing side effects after taking an unidentified COVID-19 vaccine.

“We can't even talk about the fact that I was sicker than ever for two days and that the worst COVID experience I had was like a sinus infection. “I'm not really willing to trade that,” Vance claimed.

Vance also said he was concerned that in 30 to 40 years there could be a “conflict” with developing countries because they have negative attitudes toward Westerners for “providing them health care that is not actually health care,” referring focuses on vaccines.

The senator also claimed that people are becoming trans or gender non-conforming to reject their white privilege and participate in DEI programs in order to get into Ivy League colleges.
